Sony's big E3 surprize??

well you are probably reading this knowing the same amount of information as i do. that all i know is that i know nothing. well at least i think i dont.
well one thing that should help solve the mystery is to piece all the clue's and info we know together

1: timeline

as you may or may not know E3 2008 is Set for July 15-17 at Los Angeles Convention Center. this should rule out info on games like gt5 gta haze and mgs4. should be may not

2: Games

sony have pretty much anounced all there forthcoming games. just not there release dates. so unless they have an anouncement of a major game going exclusive to ps3 or a former xbox only game multiplatform the news will probably not fully game releated. saying this however if the news was of huge game releases and there dates it would be great news.

3:Hardware

well this could be the big news and wouldn't be surprising in the least. a price cut on the PS3. a new SKU? maybe. a price cut? more likely. producing new sku's is more costly than you would think. ordering different parts. new manufacturing idea's etc. it all seems a little to costly when a price cut would do so much more. so we could be looking at the big shocking surprize. my guess...

NO!

what is so shocking and great about that sort of news?? they did it twice last year and it wasn't so amazing. it may happen indeed. and it may happen during E3 but as for it being the big surprize i doubt it. so we will move onto the next thing and what i think is most likely.

4: Software and programs

this would seem more like it. new programs to bring the ps3 to new heights. improved video playback, readable video files, more user-friendly layout of the data etc. no so great you say?? how about total ps2 software emulation for download. it could easily work. all it is is ones and zero's. the possibility of home coming out during this period as well. couple that with the in game xmb and new ps store, software updates could well be the big news... unless number 5 is the big news.

5: psp2

if you've kept reading on to this point well done. and couldn't this easily be the big big news. and wouldn't it just. anything i could say on the matter would be just pointless guesswork but if i wrote an article his long i might as well guess

-2 analougue sticks

-harddrive(anything under 20gb would be pointless)

-touch-screen

-motion(would never be put in cause it'd be too difficult to build in but how cool would it be)

-memory card(SD please) and usb ports

and when you think of it does a psp2 sound that crazy?? does it sound like it could be the news?? it could. but my guess is no. number 4 seems the most likely and would definitely have a larger impact. well thats just my opinion. you can make your owm guesses and presumptions.
